S/MOT, an acronym for Sales/Management Opportunity Training, is a 28 week course aimed to train current Pepco employees on company culture, how Pepco operates, general product knowledge, and professional skills. Pepco is a growing company and S/MOT can be a proving ground for professionalism, skills, and leadership that will position employees to boost their career within Pepco. Currently in its second year. S/MOT is an internally created training program with a proven industry success record. We have had two outstanding employees graduate from the course and move forward into their career positions.
All of our outside sales reps are held to the highest standard and given many tools to succeed. Every quarter, our reps go through a rigorous two day sales training with Charlie Hauck from Growth Dynamics. He helps our staff continue to exceed expectations everyday by analyzing and identifying areas where they can improve and grow.

With 10 years industry knowledge and
experience, Kevin Parham is the coordinator and lead trainer at Pepco Academy and has conducted countless classes in many topics such as: CSST gas, tankless, commercial PEX, flexible gas risers, residential fire safety, valves and backflow, and many more. Kevin has accredited trainings from many factories in the plumbing industry including State, American, Takagi, Uponor, HAWS, Apollo, Gastite, and more.
Kevin is a recognized presenter at ASPE, PHCC, CEF, AIM/R, DBA. Kevin has vast experience in selling, install, service, and troubleshooting.
